I stop and consider whether twenty two months is a long time. To insects that live and die in a breath, it is an eternity, but what does it mean to humankind? Twenty two months, or 1.833333333333333333 years is 2.24% of the life span of the average human.

To put this into perspective, humanity has only been on earth for 1% of its existence.
