Lisa and I talked about fishes and ponds the other night. We were talking about whether it is better to be a big fish in a small pond or vice-versa.
In high school, she was a big fish in a small pond and I was a big fish in a big pond. Did this affect the way we turned out?
On a side note, is there a difference between being a big fish in a big pond or a small fish in a big pond? They seem the same to me.
When I look at my life, I do feel like a big fish in a small pond. It’s not necessarily something bad, just something that you need to get used to. I’ve gotten used to it, I think.
